Acing Your Job Interview

By Job Interview Solutions

The cost of an unsuccessful job interview can be enormous. In the case of Airline Pilots it can run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars plus years of languishing at the bottom of a seniority list. The psychology of being rejected can be debilitatingand it takes an enormous effort to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and continue the hunt.

The majority of companies will give you one shot at an interview and herein lays the big problem. Most of us harbor the dream of working for THAT Company, you know who it is, the big one, the one you picture yourself working for.

So, what do you do when THAT company calls with the offer of an interview, how do you put yourself in the best possible position for success? It all comes down to preparation.

Most large companies will have a presence on Wikipedia and this is an excellent place to start your research. Google the company and find out all there is to possibly know about the business. When clients approach me for interview coaching one of the first questions I ask is “Tell me about the companies slogan or motto?” you probably wouldn’t fall off your chair when I tell you how few can answer the question!

After gathering all your prospective employers information it’s time to prepare for the Interview. There all thousands of books out there advising you on how to blitz your job interview, but do they really prepare you for when your sweating in the hot seat? probably not!

Job Interview Solutions has developed an alternative to the traditional interview manuals. Our        ON LINE PROGRAM will have you sitting in front of an interview panel within minutes of logging on. From there you can practice and perfect your interviewing technique verbally and visually whist our interview panel throws over two hundred of today’s most frequently asked questions at you.

Within half an hour you will start to see a large improvement in the confidence and delivery of your answers. Included in the ON-LINE program is our mini booklet, which will provide you with all the guidance, required in formulating and structuring your answers.

In today’s competitive job market there is no room for error. Prepare correctly and the rewards will come.
